Ghostron Traisia – Reinventing Ergonomics In Guitar

Japanese guitar brand Ghostron are currently running a Kickstarter to fund their new model, the Traisia.

The design for the guitar was reached by studying and analysing the playing habits and posture of over 100 guitarists, landing on a futuristic looking but incredibly comfortable feeling guitar with ergonomics that ensure maximum playability at all times, whether you’re standing up or sitting to play.

The guitar features a 25.5 inch scale and weighs 7.7lbs. The body is white ash with a rosewood fretboard on a c-shape maple neck. The guitar features “Jazzmaster style” Porter pickups, wrap around bridge, Gotoh tuners and a 3 way switch with 500k pots and oil capacitors in the electronics.

Ghostron are offering a range of rewards for Trasia backers, from Ghostron shirts to discounted Trasias, and are even offering a discount if your purchase multiple guitars.

Hurry though, as the Kickstarter closes in 4 days at time of writing. With coverage from several major guitar publications, this is a Kickstarter that is sure to be a success.

I'm the main guy at KillerGuitarRigs.com and I want to tell you all about guitars. I've been playing music since 1986 when my older brother taught me to play "Gigantic" by The Pixies on a bass with two strings. Since then, I've owned dozens of instruments from guitars to e-drums, and spent more time than I'd like to admit sitting in vans waiting for venues to open across Europe and the US.
