Welcome To Rockville 2021 Preview – Atreyu, All Good Things, BRKN LOVE, Joyous Wolf and more

Hard rock and metal fans rejoice – after being postponed from 2020 (what wasn’t!), Welcome To Rockville is ready to roll in Daytona Beach, Florida from November 11-14, with a lineup that’s a who’s who of every band you want to see in 2021.

While there has been some movement in the lineup, the Danny Wimmer Presents team have more than made up for it by adding a fourth day and packing each and every inch of the linup with killer acts, from classic icons like LYNRD SKYNYRD to cutting edge bands like CODE ORANGE and FEVER 333 – and of course, two nights of METALLICA.

We caught up with a handful of the bands on the lineup to find out who they’re excited to see, and what gear they’ll be rocking on the day.

Atreyu – Dan Jacobs

Atreyu - Ex's And Oh's & Two Are One (Live @ Rock am Ring 2019)

Who are you looking forward to seeing at Welcome To Rockville?

I caught Badflowers set at Louder Than Life and was very impressed. Looking forward to checking them out again.

What’s your guitar rig going to be for the show?

I will have a Kemper amp head out with me and 2 of my signature Sushi Kiesel Guitars. They are Hyperdrive models, one of which has realistic sushi pieces placed in clear apoxy displayed in the body of the guitar like a bento box and the other being a tropic blue with cartoon sushi piece decals all over it. Both guitars have crossed chopstick inlays to match.

All Good Things – Andrew Bojanic

All Good Things - Get Up (Live @ The Whisky A Go Go , March 30 , 2018)

Who are you looking forward to seeing at Welcome To Rockville?

I am a big Metallica and Asking Alexandria fan, so definitely looking forward to seeing them live and don’t mind a little Skynyrd myself 🙂

What’s your guitar rig going to be for the show?

All of our live guitars and bass run through the Fractal Axe FX3 and Digitech Whammy dt pedal. My main guitar will be a custom Shabat Lion Deluxe. Our guitar wireless is supplied by the folks at Sennheiser.

BRKN LOVE – Justin Benlolo

BRKN LOVE 👉👇 SHOT DOWN @ The Saint in Asbury Park NJ August 17th

Who are you looking forward to seeing at Welcome To Rockville?

We’re looking forward to FINALLY seeing Metallica. Before all the Danny Wimmer festivals got cancelled, we were booked for all the days when Metallica wasn’t playing. We are absolutely going to stay the extra day to see them.

What’s your guitar rig going to be for the show?

My rig will most likely be my Gibson Firebird, my Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop and my Gretsch G5260T Baritone for guitars.

My amp will be a Vox AC30 running through a secret concoction of Earthquaker Devices, Boss and Catalinbread pedals.

My go to fuzz these days is the Solid Gold FX Imperial MKII, which is basically a really solid Big Muff clone with a built in gate.

That pedal will 100% be my main fuzz for that show.

Joyous Wolf – Blake Allard

Joyous Wolf - Mother Rebel [Live]

Who are you looking forward to seeing at Welcome To Rockville?

I’m for sure most excited looking forward to seeing Badflower.  Luckily we’re playing on the same day as them, we go way back as friend bands and I think they’re by far one of the best bands around.

What’s your guitar rig going to be for the show?

My guitar rig consists of a 50 watt Marshall Plexi with an original 1968 Marshall 4×12. Mostly rocking a 2008 Gibson 335 that is my go to guitar for anything and a custom made Ciano Telecaster for some open tunings we do as a band.

For pedals I try to keep it really simple with a Wah, EQ, Phaser and Delay.

Oh and most importantly a tuner haha!

Dead Poets Society – Jack Collins

Who are you looking forward to seeing at Welcome To Rockville?

I can’t wait to see Lamb of God. As a metalhead, I grew up with that band.

What’s your guitar rig going to be for the show?

We use Line 6 Helix’s direct into the PA. We’re simple boys (except it’s really complicated).

Reach NYC – AJ Chiarella

Reach NYC - Back From The Dead (Official Music Video)

Who are you looking forward to seeing at Welcome To Rockville?

Really excited to see a lot of the bands, but most looking forward to The Offspring, Fever 333, and of course Metallica. I’ve been a huge fan of The Offspring since I was a kid and haven’t had a chance to ever catch them live. Americana was one of the CDs I spun in my car probably 100 times or so.

What’s your guitar rig going to be for the show?

My guitar rig consists of a Gibson Les Paul studio that I got back in 2006 that I’m going to be running into a Line 6 Helix Rack into my Orange CR120. Love the flexibility I get with using the Helix and a solid state amp. Great tone with a lot less worry when on the road.

I'm the main guy at KillerGuitarRigs.com and I want to tell you all about guitars. I've been playing music since 1986 when my older brother taught me to play "Gigantic" by The Pixies on a bass with two strings. Since then, I've owned dozens of instruments from guitars to e-drums, and spent more time than I'd like to admit sitting in vans waiting for venues to open across Europe and the US.
